Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work On The Shores Of The Dnieper by Sergei Ivanovich Vasilkovsky. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,483.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Sergei Ivanovich Vasilkovsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work " Beshtau Mountain Caucasus". was auctioned for EUR 58,000.00.
