Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Oeuvres Modernes sur Papier, which included the work Nature morte à la pipe by Serge Férat. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Férat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lacerba, 1913 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 396,544.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Oeuvres Modernes sur Papier durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature morte à la pipe von Serge Férat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Férat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lacerba, 1913 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 396.544,00.
