Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self-Portrait by Seif Wanly was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,382.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seif Wanly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March last year with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 112,040.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Seif Wanly kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.382,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seif Wanly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 112.040,39).
