Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Man In Armour, Said To Be Ippolito De' Medici by Sebastiano Luciani for GBP 925,000.00 (€ 1,015,588.50). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Evening Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sebastiano Luciani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Vision Of Saint Anthony Abbot, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 3,150,000.00 (€ 2,618,453.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Man In Armour, Said To Be Ippolito De' Medici von Sebastiano Luciani für GBP 925.000,00 (€ 1.015.588,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sebastiano Luciani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Vision Of Saint Anthony Abbot beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 3.150.000,00 (€ 2.618.453,87) versteigert wurde.
