Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Jacob and Rachel at the well by Sebastiano Conca was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2012. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,211.94) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastiano Conca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of George Parker, 2nd Earl of Macclesfield, PRS, three-quarter-length, standing in front of the Colosseum, right hand resting on a map of Italy, a statue of the Apollo Belvedere on a giltwood and marble table in December last year with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 426,725.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Jacob and Rachel at the well von Sebastiano Conca wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of George Parker, 2nd Earl of Macclesfield, PRS, three-quarter-length, standing in front of the Colosseum, right hand resting on a map of Italy, a statue of the Apollo Belvedere on a giltwood and marble table im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 426.725,18).
