Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Balcony Pine Run by Scott Kahn was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 119,691.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scott Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work BIG HOUSE, HOMAGE TO AMERICA in May last year with an auction result of HKD 11,250,000.00 (€ 1,335,616.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Balcony Pine Run von Scott Kahn kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 119.691,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scott Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit BIG HOUSE, HOMAGE TO AMERICA im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.250.000,00 (€ 1.335.616,44).
