Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Vicolo a Tagliacozzo, 1912 by Scipione Simoni. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,860.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,700.00 – 1,900.00. Other works by Scipione Simoni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Canzone Romana was auctioned for EUR 2,880.00.

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vicolo a Tagliacozzo, 1912 von Scipione Simoni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.860,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.700,00 – 1.900,00. Andere Arbeiten von Scipione Simoni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Canzone Romana für EUR 2.880,00 versteigert.
