Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Figure nel parco by Scipione Simoni for EUR 500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Scipione Simoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canzone Romana in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 2,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figure nel parco von Scipione Simoni für EUR 500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 550,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Scipione Simoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canzone Romana im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.880,00.
