Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Sawasdi Tantisuk was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,285.39). Other works by Sawasdi Tantisuk have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2021 by the work Skyform at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,928.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sawasdi Tantisuk im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.285,39) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Sawasdi Tantisuk wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Skyform mit HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.928,08).
