Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hommage (Leonardo and Corot) by Satoshi Kanai was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,388.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Other works by Satoshi Kanai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work Two in the Bathroom (CON VOI) was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).
