Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Debut by Satoshi Kanai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,336.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 95,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Satoshi Kanai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work Two in the Bathroom (CON VOI) was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Debut von Satoshi Kanai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.336,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 95.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Satoshi Kanai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit Two in the Bathroom (CON VOI) für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70) versteigert.
