Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Empty Bucket (Collectible Version) by Satoru Koizumi was worth HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,635.48) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 7,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Satoru Koizumi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shaking Ground in March 2021 with an auction result of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 38,635.85).

Die Arbeit Empty Bucket (Collectible Version) von Satoru Koizumi war einem Käufer im September 2020 HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.635,48) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Satoru Koizumi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shaking Ground im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 38.635,85).
