Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paire de statues by Sarandis Karavousis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 8,287.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarandis Karavousis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Composition, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,465.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paire de statues von Sarandis Karavousis kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.287,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarandis Karavousis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Composition beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.465,56) versteigert wurde.
