The work Jacket On A Chair by Sarandis Karavousis was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2006. It achieved a price of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,605.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarandis Karavousis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Composition, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,465.56).

Die Arbeit Jacket On A Chair von Sarandis Karavousis kam im Mai 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.605,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarandis Karavousis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Composition beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.465,56) versteigert wurde.
