It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,502.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Louisa Kilpack - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rough weather. The Grande Rocque, Cobo Bay, Guernsey, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,418.30).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.502,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Louisa Kilpack mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rough weather.
