Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sarah Crowner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2019. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,944.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Crowner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 334,898.56).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sarah Crowner erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.944,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Crowner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 334.898,56).
