A top price for Sarah Ball
In March this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Elliot by Sarah Ball. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 120,650.00 (€ 137,262.68), 51% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Elliot the most expensive artwork by Sarah Ball that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elliot von Sarah Ball zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 120.650,00 (€ 137.262,68) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Elliot zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Sarah Ball, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
