Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work AC (Black Lives Matter 1); and AC (Black Lives Matter 2) by Sarah Ball. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,651.00 (€ 2,763.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Ball achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elliot in March this year with an auction result of GBP 120,650.00 (€ 137,262.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit AC (Black Lives Matter 1); and AC (Black Lives Matter 2) von Sarah Ball zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.651,00 (€ 2.763,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Ball erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elliot im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.650,00 (€ 137.262,68).
