A top price for Sankho Chaudhuri
This work without title by Sankho Chaudhuri was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2018. It achieved a price of INR 3,250,000.00 (€ 41,044.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Sankho Chaudhuri that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sankho Chaudhuri wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Boundless: India bei Sothebys in Mumbai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von INR 3.250.000,00 (€ 41.044,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sankho Chaudhuri, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
