This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 900.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sandro Martini; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Quantità cristero sold at auction in December 2016 with the realized price of EUR 5,500.00.
