Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sandra Blow was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,720.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandra Blow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandra Blow wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.720,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandra Blow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08).
