Burns auction, the work Pembroke, A Thoroughbred Horse sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,229.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Spode - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Voltigeur, With Job Mason Up, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).

Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Spode mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Voltigeur, With Job Mason Up beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23) versteigert wurde.
