Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 336.00 (€ 493.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Samuel John Stump have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work John Bull as a student, in a black cap and gown, white shirt and knotted cravat was auctioned for GBP 500.00 (€ 700.13).
