Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Stream at Lamorna by Samuel John Lamorna Birch was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 768.00 (€ 889.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samuel John Lamorna Birch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Where'er you walk in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 71,700.00 (€ 110,903.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Stream at Lamorna von Samuel John Lamorna Birch wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 768,00 (€ 889,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samuel John Lamorna Birch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Where'er you walk im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.700,00 (€ 110.903,66).
