Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A Fly-Fisherman Casting A Fly, A House Beyond, Thought To Be Chatsworth by Samuel John Egbert Jones for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,041.83). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samuel John Egbert Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gentlemen Reloading Their Guns With Three Pointers; And A Pheasant Shooting Over Pointers in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,802.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Fly-Fisherman Casting A Fly, A House Beyond, Thought To Be Chatsworth von Samuel John Egbert Jones für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.041,83) erwerben.
