Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work People at the Sea, the Faroe Islands by Samuel Joensen-Mikines for DKK 90,000.00 (€ 12,073.77). This price was achieved in the auction CoBrA at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Joensen-Mikines - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, Mykines; seen from west towards east, The Faroe Islands, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 40,000.00 (€ 34,958.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit People at the Sea, the Faroe Islands von Samuel Joensen-Mikines für DKK 90.000,00 (€ 12.073,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Joensen-Mikines mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape, Mykines; seen from west towards east, The Faroe Islands beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 40.000,00 (€ 34.958,92) versteigert wurde.
