The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,316.93), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Royal Exchange, Dame Street, with a distant view of College Green is the most expensive artwork by Samuel Frederick Brocas that we have observed at auctions so far.
