Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel David Colkett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures on a path in a wooded landscape; and Figures resting by a pond in a wooded landscape with cottages beyond, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,681.96).
