Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sorting the Catch by Samuel Bough was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,469.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samuel Bough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work London From Shooters Hill in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,379.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sorting the Catch von Samuel Bough kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.469,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samuel Bough erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit London From Shooters Hill im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.379,90).
