Despite a disappointment, a good price for Sami Rinne
When the work A Face. by Sami Rinne was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in April 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 360.00. Despite this disappointing result, A Face. is the most expensive artwork by Sami Rinne that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Sami Rinne
Als die Arbeit A Face. von Sami Rinne im April 2011 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 360,00 den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist A Face. das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sami Rinne, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
