However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sam Levin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brigitte Bardot, c. 1967 (3); Liv Ullmann, 1960s; Mylene Demongeot, 1960s; Catherine Deneuve, c. 1967, which sold at auction in February 2007 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 4,988.66).

Die Arbeit Portrait De Catherine Deneuve, Circa 1960-1965 von Sam Levin kam im Mai 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.859,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24 %.
