Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work House in a landscape by Sam Hyde Harris for USD 535.50 (€ 473.14). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Hyde Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Quinta Wash in August last year with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 20,268.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit House in a landscape von Sam Hyde Harris für USD 535,50 (€ 473,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Hyde Harris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Quinta Wash im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 20.268,26).
