Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Desert brush and mountains by Sam Hyde Harris was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,212.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sam Hyde Harris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Quinta Wash, which sold at auction in August last year for USD 20,400.00 (€ 20,268.26).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.212,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sam Hyde Harris mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Quinta Wash beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für USD 20.400,00 (€ 20.268,26) versteigert wurde.
