The price achieved of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Spanish A Watchful Eye - The Vigil is the most expensive artwork by Salvador Sánchez Barbudo that we have observed at auctions so far.
