Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Los Doctores by Salvador Sánchez Barbudo was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Sánchez Barbudo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish A Watchful Eye - The Vigil in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,487.69).

Die Arbeit Los Doctores von Salvador Sánchez Barbudo kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.648,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Sánchez Barbudo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish A Watchful Eye - The Vigil im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.487,69).
