Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Salvador Corratgé. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,910.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Salvador Corratgé have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work without title was auctioned for USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,359.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Salvador Corratgé zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.910,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Salvador Corratgé konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 43.750,00 (€ 41.359,43) versteigert.
