Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Forma espacial #2 by Salvador Corratgé was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,809.55). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvador Corratgé - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,359.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Forma espacial #2 von Salvador Corratgé wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.809,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvador Corratgé mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 41.359,43) versteigert wurde.
