Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A wooded river landscape with a farmyard and a dovecote by Salomon Rombouts was sold in the Old Master Pictures and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 31,450.00. Other works by Salomon Rombouts have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 49,407.01) in July 2019 for the work A village kermesse with figures.
