Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A Village Kermesse With Numerous Figures And Market Stalls by Salomon Rombouts. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 38,863.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Salomon Rombouts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2019 the work A village kermesse with figures was auctioned for GBP 45,000.00 (€ 49,407.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Village Kermesse With Numerous Figures And Market Stalls von Salomon Rombouts zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 38.863,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Salomon Rombouts konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2019 die Arbeit A village kermesse with figures für GBP 45.000,00 (€ 49.407,01) versteigert.
