Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction The Kagan Collection, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Lady by Salomon-Guillaume Counis. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,312.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salomon-Guillaume Counis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Pauline Borghese, Née Bonaparte (1780-1825), Circa 1810, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,651.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Kagan Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Lady von Salomon-Guillaume Counis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.312,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Salomon-Guillaume Counis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Pauline Borghese, Née Bonaparte (1780-1825), Circa 1810 beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.651,65) versteigert wurde.
