A top price for Sally Michel - as previously expected
In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Nude Asleep by Sally Michel. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,189.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nude Asleep is the most expensive artwork by Sally Michel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude Asleep von Sally Michel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.189,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Nude Asleep das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sally Michel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
