It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,638.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Salah Yousri; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Temps des Labours (The Time of the Labourers) sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,204.04).

Die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled (Sitting Nude) von Salah Yousri kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.638,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Salah Yousri; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Temps des Labours (The Time of the Labourers) im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.204,04).
