Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Saadi Al-Kaabi was sold in the Sketches from Baghdad auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,167.50 (€ 2,591.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Saadi Al-Kaabi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Childrens Games in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,509.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Saadi Al-Kaabi wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Sketches from Baghdad bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.591,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Saadi Al-Kaabi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Childrens Games im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.509,66).
