Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Humanscape by S. G. Vasudev was sold in the Indian Art Including Miniatures & Modern Indian Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,675.10). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by S. G. Vasudev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work She And Mountains, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 20,400.00 (€ 14,878.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Humanscape von S. G. Vasudev wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion Indian Art Including Miniatures & Modern Indian Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.675,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von S. G. Vasudev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit She And Mountains beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 20.400,00 (€ 14.878,56) versteigert wurde.
