In April 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included the work 14Th January 2011 by Ryan Sullivan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,178.78), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryan Sullivan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work October 28, 2010-February 8, 2011 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 135,969.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit 14Th January 2011 von Ryan Sullivan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.178,78) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryan Sullivan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit October 28, 2010-February 8, 2011 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 135.969,43).
