Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Topiary Gargantua by Ryan Mosley was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,807.08), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Mosley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tag Team, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,208.29).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Topiary Gargantua von Ryan Mosley kam im September 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.807,08) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Mosley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tag Team beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.208,29) versteigert wurde.
