Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Kirton, Suffolk by Russell Sidney Reeve. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 453.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Russell Sidney Reeve - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Evening At The Piano, which sold at auction in May 2006 for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,488.87).

Im August 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kirton, Suffolk von Russell Sidney Reeve zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 453,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Russell Sidney Reeve mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Evening At The Piano beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.488,87) versteigert wurde.
