In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Tivoli, La Prima Cascata by Rudolph Müller. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,480.00 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolph Müller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Franciscan monks on a terrace, Assisi beyond, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,426.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tivoli, La Prima Cascata von Rudolph Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.480,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rudolph Müller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Franciscan monks on a terrace, Assisi beyond beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.426,91) versteigert wurde.
