Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swiss Harem Guard by Rudolf Weisse was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,312.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Weisse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bohemian a Moment Of Prayer in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 498,574.38).

Die Arbeit Swiss Harem Guard von Rudolf Weisse kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.312,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Weisse erzielen.
