Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Snowy Mountain by Rudolf Helmut Sauter. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 216.00 (€ 320.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rudolf Helmut Sauter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2009 the work Calm before the Storm, St. Valerie en Caux, August 1939 was auctioned for USD 687.50 (€ 542.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snowy Mountain von Rudolf Helmut Sauter zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 216,00 (€ 320,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Helmut Sauter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2009 die Arbeit Calm before the Storm, St. Valerie en Caux, August 1939 für USD 687,50 (€ 542,96) versteigert.
